Greetings, readers of the Rant.
The next episode of the Grant Rant Podcast will be recorded live at the Mahtay Cafe in St. Catharines as part of the Local Media Matter fundraiser for the Niagara Podcasters Network.
The event is raising funds to support NPN’s work, and there is a full schedule of NPN’s shows that will be recorded live at the cafe, including One Dish One Mic, The Practical Feminist and Elephant and the Irishman. In an age of shrinking media resources, local networks like the NPN are helping fill the void. So come out and show your support. There is a diverse stable of shows at NPN, so you are bound to find something that interests you.
It’s free to attend the event, which runs from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. It is a fundraiser for the network, so we’re asking for a suggested donation of $5. That is $5 for several hours of insight and entertainment!
I will on around 4 p.m. doing some Grant Rant commentary and I will take your questions. A fair point. I was posted and editing and that info hadn’t been added. My bad. It’s been added, but since you asked it is free to attend the event, which runs from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. It is a fundraiser for the network, so we’re asking for a suggested donation of $5.
A mere five bucks for hours of insight and entertainment. That ain’t bad.
