Those who have followed my work know I am a massive boxing nerd. I have had a handful of amateur fights and written a few award winning stories on the sweet science. (Not to brag or anything.)
I am proud to say that I going to be doing more boxing writing for 8 Count Media, a Canadian-based boxing management company. I will be writing profiles about 8 Count fighters, stories about their bouts, as well as penning a regular boxing column and maybe more.
My first piece for 8 Count is about 20-year-old Arizona boxer Danny Garcia who fights tomorrow night in Agua Prieta, Mexico. You can check out my story – From the streets of LA to the boxing ring – here, as well as updates on the fight on my Twitter page.
